Director of the Language Institute Participates in Preparatory Meeting on Enhancing English Proficiency
in Thailand’s Education System

                 On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Associate Professor Dr. Kawin Wongleede, Director of the Language Institute, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in a preparatory meeting to discuss and exchange perspectives on the topic of “Guidelines for Enhancing English Language Proficiency in Thailand’s Education System.” The meeting was held in collaboration with Mr. Songsak Saicheua, President of the Office of the Ombudsman, along with his delegation. During the meeting, the Director of the Language Institute presented key insights into the institute’s roles and operations, highlighting the background and development of the SSRU-TEP (Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Test of English Proficiency). Emphasis was also placed on assessment and evaluation approaches aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with the aim of elevating students’ English proficiency to meet international standards. The meeting was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Nattaphat Kaewrattanaphat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and was held at the University Council Meeting Room, Building 31, 5th Floor, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
