On August 18, 2026, the Language Institute of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kevin Wongleedee, Director of the Language Institute, supported its personnel in participating in the Active Shooter Survival Workshop for Fiscal Year 2026.

The workshop was designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills for protecting themselves when confronted with an active shooter or other similar violent situations in educational institutions and other public places. The training covered situational awareness, communication and emergency alerts, panic management, initial response and assistance, as well as the “Run, Hide, Fight” approach, with the aim of enhancing participants’ ability to respond appropriately and improve their chances of staying safe during such emergencies.

The workshop featured police officers from Samsen Metropolitan Police Station as expert instructors, who provided both theoretical knowledge and practical training. The workshop was held at Sunandanusorn Auditorium, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, with the aim of strengthening participants’ knowledge, practical skills, and preparedness to effectively respond to serious emergency situations.
